Our Vintage Amps and Service |
|
- We have a range of 2nd hand British
vintage valve guitar amplifiers for sale and specialise in Vox and Marshall amps
- Any repair or restoration work is carried
out making use of vintage spare components or, where appropriate, carefully selected new and replica replacement
parts from specialist valve amp component suppliers
- We always endeavour to give an accurate
description on the condition and age of our vintage amps. On request we can let you know further details of any repair, restoration
or modification work carried out by The Amp Barn
- All our vintage amps are PAT (Portable
Appliance Test) tested for Electrical Safety by a qualified engineer and come with a test certificate
- By arrangement we can ship our amps anywhere
We are very interested in acquiring vintage
valve guitar amplifiers and will always consider part exchange and purchase
Occasionally we have a selection of spares
for sale including speakers - please contact us with any requirements.
We will consider renting out amplifiers for that special gig, recording or television/film
shoot

The Amp Barn was founded by Phil Roberts in 2008 . Phil is a Chartered Electrical/Electronics
Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He has had much experience of working
with technology associated with the broadcasting, recording and telecoms industries having worked as a BBC
Engineer and more recently as an industry consultant and advisor. Phil also plays in a band and has a passion
for the guitar and amp - it is this passion that led to the creation of The Amp Barn.
